Jamie Criswell, MS, LMFT earned her BS in Family and Community Services and an MS in Marriage and Family Therapy at East Carolina University in 2010.

Jamie has served clients in outpatient, inpatient and community settings over the past 5 years. Jamie completed an internship at Fort Bragg as a pastoral counselor, serving under the chaplains and helping to start the Family Life Training program. While there, Jamie provided counseling services for individuals, couples and families, co-led a weekly deployed spouse support group, co-facilitated multiple parenting, marital enrichment, and psychoeducation workshops and was a guest presenter at an Army marriage retreat. Jamie truly enjoyed working with the Army and continues to have a passion to serve those who serve our country and their families.

Additionally, Jamie has experience working with individuals and families dealing with substance abuse, mental health and domestic violence. Jamie has completed level 2 training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy as well as certification as a PREPARE/ENRICH facilitator. Jamie is committed to further education and advancing the field of Marriage and Family Therapy and currently serves as the Treasurer for the North Carolina Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and is a Clinical Fellow in the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists. Jamie also serves as a supervisor for Associate level therapists.
