What Thriving means to me

Thriving to me means that you fully believe that you are living on purpose with a purpose! When one discovers their strengths and talents and uses them to walk confidently into their purpose and also blessing others along the way, they are thriving.

About My
Areas of Focus

I am a former elementary teacher and elementary school counselor. I specialize in working with children and teens, as well as young adults. I am currently working on becoming a registered play therapist and integrate play and expressive arts into sessions with clients. I have experience working with clients that have ADHD, anxiety, autism, depression, self-esteem issues, manage grief, and integrate Chrisitan counseling if requested. I am passionate about supporting clients to develop coping skills and strategies that help them be the best versions of themselves. I also believe in partnering with parents by consulting about parenting styles, approaches, and strategies for success at home.

My therapeutic orientation is person centered, cognitive behavioral, and solution focused.

Why I love what I do

I am grateful for the opportunity to walk alongside clients and their families through life’s challenges and see them build resiliency and overcome barriers to thriving. Getting to be part of one’s journey to overall wellness is a gift!
