What Thriving Means to Me

I believe thriving to be a journey to purpose, well-being, and a strong sense of self. When we learn how to handle life’s many stressors and unknowns without losing who we are as human beings, we are truly thriving.

More About Allie

My role at FFT is two-fold. In 2020 I started with FFT as a therapist and in summer of 2023 I began working as the Office Team Lead for our Fuquay Varina location. As a therapist I focus on providing individualized treatment for each client that I work with, while also emphasizing the relational aspect of care. My area of focus tends to lean towards couples based work in addition to childhood trauma. As the team lead in Fuquay Varina, I strive to ensure therapists and clients feel they are in a safe, comfortable, and cared for space. What this looks like varies day to day but includes a variety of management and administrative duties. I also provide support for new and existing therapists to ensure any needs are addressed and the opportunity for them to be fully present with their clients is available.

Why I love what I do

The privilege I have to stand alongside clients as they navigate life’s challenges in addition to witnessing their progress and growth throughout that process is why I love what I do. Making the decision to go to therapy is not an easy one, we talk about and explore very challenging aspects of life and to be trusted to join clients on that journey is quite the honor.

What i do

For Fun!

I enjoy traveling, camping, and being outdoors. I love animals and find great value in the human-animal bond, which includes adventuring with my two rescue dogs, Max and Nayla (NayNay). As a kid, I was always interested in Art and continue to exercise that creative side by painting, drawing, and journaling in any spare time I might have.
