About My
Areas of Focus

I am a firm believer in the effectiveness of therapy and how healing the therapeutic process is. I have always been interested in working with children and adolescents as I understand how challenging this stage of life can be. I enjoy utilizing many different therapeutic modalities that best meet my client’s needs and goals. I am constantly learning new approaches to grow in my ability to help a wide diversity of clients.

Why I love what I do

I love working with people and helping them live their best life. I understand that life can be difficult and we may face many challenges along the way. It is my pleasure and honor to be able to help my clients by offering them a safe non-judgmental environment. As well as, empathy, acceptance, and tools they can use to help them navigate through life.

my experience

I received my Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adams State University. In addition, I hold a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Long Island University. My clinical experience includes time working in a private practice setting with a focus on children. I love utilizing Play therapy, Sand tray therapy, and Expressive arts therapy with many of my clients. Currently, I am interested in pursuing more Play therapy training and one day becoming a Registered Play Therapist.
