What Thriving means to me

Many might think of thriving as living one’s best life – being happy, successful, What does thriving mean to you? confident, and energetic. But I think of thriving as being able to grow, have joy, fine encouragement, and hold onto hope in the midst of an inperfect life.

Why I love what I do

I love what I do because people matter. Each person, no matter their age, is a one-of-a-kind creation with immeasurable value and a distinct purpose. I love what I do because marriages matter. Strong marriages create a unity that encourages individual growth. Strong marriages set the stage for confident, well-adjusted children. I love what I do because families matter. Families are the first pieces of the foundation that we build our lives on. When families create healthy attachments, provide emotional safety, and encourage autonomy, society as a whole flourishes. I love what I do because it all matters – thoughts, feelings, doubts, fears, experiences, beliefs, joys, tears, laughs, and relationships.

For Fun!

For fun I really enjoy being outdoors hiking, kayaking, or going for a walk. I also love traveling, trying new restaurants, exploring big cities or small towns, and listening to live music while relaxing with friends. I am a family girl, so spending time with my nice and nephew is usually the highlight of my week.
