HI, I’m Renee and I work best with people who are ready to reflect on their life experiences, commit to the process of change, and move forward with a new sense of control over their life.
Life Has You Feeling Stuck
Tired, overwhelmed, and feeling stuck? There are times when we all need extra support. New life transitions can be hard to navigate. Maybe you're an empty nester, finding yourself discouraged and lonely. Maybe you’re adjusting to college life and being on your own for the first time. Maybe you’re dealing with the loss or illness of a spouse or significant other.
Or perhaps you’re reflecting back over past decisions and experiences and you’re left with worry, doubt or regret. You’ve come to the end of raising a family, or a fulfilling career, or college experience but now you’re lost and stuck trying to figure out what life looks like at this stage.
Transition Is Different for Everyone
For some people reaching the end of their career, or even graduating high school comes with a sense of accomplishment, and pride and excitement for the next phase. But for others, there's confusion or sadness over the purpose or direction for their life.
Maybe life doesn’t look the way you thought it would at this point. Maybe you haven’t been able to retire or travel like you thought you would. Maybe you’ve completed college and are wondering what’s next.
Maybe illness has left its impacts on yourself or your partner and you are grieving the loss of those dreams and expectations. Maybe your children are making choices that you don’t agree with or parenthood is not what you wanted it to be.
Everyone handles major life changes differently.
Move Forward With Clarity and Peace
You can find your way again and move forward with refined purpose. Find meaning in your life and let go of thoughts of worry that keep you up at night. You can look towards the future with hope and optimism.
You can grieve the loss of expectations and disappointments and create new goals and dreams. You can forgive and let go of the burdens that you carry. You can move forward with purpose and hope.
I would love to be part of your journey and provide support and encouragement. If you’re feeling stuck and unsure what step to take next, contact me and let's discover a meaningful journey for renewal and peace.
A Little About Me
I’m originally from West Virginia and moved to Raleigh in 2013. My husband and I are high school sweethearts and have navigated many life transitions together. We enjoy exploring our new home in the Triangle and love all the festivals around town.
For fun, I love reading, watching college football, spending time outdoors, and chasing after our little girl. Being a mom has really challenged me to slow down and be grateful for all the little things in life.
Specialty and background
I’ve worked with adults and children in a variety of settings dealing with anxiety, depression and trauma. I incorporate faith into my work at the request and discretion of my clients. I also create a safe space for reflection and exploration, and instill hope, provide support and encouragement as I walk along side of you to discover the next step in your journey.
